Mera India was born from something deeply personal: missing home.
After moving to the UK, I often found myself searching for the little things that once felt so familiar — the flavours, events, services and small comforts that connect you to India. While these things existed, they were often hard to find in one place, and sometimes lacked the authenticity or quality that truly makes them feel like home.
That experience stayed with me.
I realised that so many of us share this feeling — wanting to stay connected to our roots while building a life abroad. That's when the idea for Mera India came to life: a place where people could reconnect with the essence of India and feel a sense of belonging, no matter where they are.
Mera India is more than just a store — it's a personal journey.
Everything we do is guided by a deeper purpose: to recreate that sense of familiarity, comfort, and connection that reminds you of home. It's about the feeling you get when something instantly takes you back — to your childhood, your family, or a moment that matters.
As someone who has experienced this journey firsthand, I understand how important those small details are. It's not just about what you find — it's about how it makes you feel, and the connection it creates.
