Our mission

MeraIndia exists to make it easier for people of Indian heritage across the UK to discover what's happening in their local community. Whether you're looking for a Diwali mela near you, a great South Indian restaurant in Manchester, or a cultural organisation offering support in your area — we want to be the first place you look.

The Indian diaspora in the UK is one of the most vibrant, diverse communities in the world. We built MeraIndia to reflect that — a platform shaped by the community, for the community.

How it works

MeraIndia is community-powered. Anyone can submit an event or listing — our team then reviews it before it goes live. This keeps the content accurate and trustworthy.
